Description

The Stratus SAE-F14X is a 14,000-lb capacity two-post floor-plate lift built for shops that need to put serious weight in the air without giving up bay-floor access. Open-top columns and a low, drive-over diamond-plate floor plate keep the area between the posts clear, so the only thing crossing your floor is a shallow channel that carries the hydraulic line and lock cables.

Its extra-wide stance and 14,000-lb rating leave headroom for heavy-duty pickups and work trucks, while four 3-stage telescoping arms — two per column — share the same front and rear reach so the vehicle sits symmetrically between the posts. A single-point manual release, multi-position safety locks, and a top limiter switch handle the lifting and lock-out side of the job.

Single-point manual release

One lever disengages the mechanical safety locks on both columns at the same time, so you lower the vehicle from a single station instead of walking column to column.

Multi-position safety locks and top limiter

Each carriage rides a toothed safety-lock rack with spring-loaded pawls that engage automatically as the lift rises, holding the load at the nearest lock position. A top limiter switch stops travel at maximum lifting height.

Hydraulic power unit

The hydraulic power unit mounts to the side of the column and pairs the electric motor with the reservoir and pump in one assembly. Lift speed is adjustable at the oil-flow valve, and the unit runs on AW32 or AW46 hydraulic oil.

FAQ

What electrical service does the SAE-F14X need?

It runs on 220V single-phase, 60 Hz power on a 30-amp circuit breaker. The lift ships without a plug, so you add a 220–250V, 30A plug to match your outlet. The power cord is 11 feet long, and the wiring should be completed by a certified electrician.

Can I adjust the lifting speed?

Yes. The oil-flow valve sets the speed — turning it clockwise slows the lift and counter-clockwise speeds it up.

How do I lower the lift if it is resting on a safety lock?

Release the safety locks, then release the pressure in the hydraulic system to bring the carriages down.

What concrete and anchors does it require?

Install the SAE-F14X on a level concrete floor at least 8 inches (200 mm) thick and rated to at least 3,500 PSI, fully cured and free of cracks. It bolts down with 14 included M20 × 160 mm expansion anchors. See the installation manual for the full anchoring procedure.

The SAE-F14X ships by freight on a pallet, with a shipping weight of about 2,155 lbs.
