Description
Description
The Triumph NT-11 is an 11,000-lb asymmetric two-post floor-plate lift built for full-time shop and serious home-garage use. Its two columns are joined at the floor by a drive-over base plate rather than an overhead crossbar, so there is no top bar to drop ceiling clearance ā the tallest fixed point is the 116-inch column itself. The lift raises cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs up to its rated capacity, with the load split across four arm pads at 2,750 lb per pad.
The arms are asymmetric: the two front arms are three-piece double-telescoping sections, and the two rear arms are two-piece single-telescoping sections, so the vehicle sits rearward in the bay and the doors clear the columns when you load and unload. Each arm finishes in a rubber lift pad and accepts a set of stackable steel truck adapters for frames that need extra reach, up to a 9-inch maximum pad height. Lifting is handled by dual hydraulic cylinders ā one per column ā kept in sync by dual equalizer cables routed over top and bottom sheaves. A multi-position mechanical safety latch on each column engages automatically as the carriage rises and holds the lift on lock until both releases are pulled, and rack-and-gear arm restraints keep the swing arms from drifting under load.
The column-mounted electric-hydraulic power unit runs on 220V single-phase service (60 Hz, on a dedicated 30-amp circuit) and can be mounted on either column. It uses about 3 gallons of AW32 hydraulic oil and raises the lift to a 72-inch maximum height in 56 seconds, dropping to a 4.5-inch lowered height to clear low-profile vehicles. Both ISO 9001 manufacturing and CE conformity are stated by Triumph. The lift installs on a level concrete floor rated 4 inches minimum at 3,000 PSI, ships freight, and includes a set of truck adapters, floor anchors, and mounting hardware at no extra charge.

FAQ
What can the NT-11 lift, and how is the capacity distributed?
Rated capacity is 11,000 lb, distributed at 2,750 lb per arm pad across all four arms. The lift is designed to raise the entire vehicle on all four pads ā never use it to raise only one end or one corner.
What does “asymmetric” mean on this lift?
The two front arms are shorter three-piece double-telescoping arms and the two rear arms are longer two-piece single-telescoping arms. That geometry sets the vehicle rearward of the column centerline, so the doors open clear of the columns when you get in and out ā useful when you load passenger vehicles between the posts.
Will it fit a shop with limited ceiling height?
The floor-plate design has no overhead crossbar, so there is no top bar limiting clearance. The lift’s tallest fixed point is the 116-inch (about 9-foot-8) column. Plan your ceiling for the column height plus the tallest vehicle raised to working height, and keep the area free of overhead obstructions such as heaters, building supports, and electrical lines.
What concrete and electrical service does it need?
Install on a level concrete floor that is a minimum of 4 inches thick and rated 3,000 PSI; do not install on asphalt, over expansion joints, outdoors, or on a second floor over a basement. The power unit runs on 220V single-phase service at 60 Hz on a dedicated 30-amp circuit. Have a certified electrician make the hook-up to comply with local code.
Is installation included?
MGS does not include installation in the base price. The supplied manual covers site layout, anchor-bolt installation, power-unit mounting, cable routing, hydraulic hook-up, and test run. Triumph notes the lift can typically be assembled by two people in a few hours; many shop owners install in-house, and third-party installation is also common.
How is the lift delivered?
The NT-11 ships freight on an LTL common carrier on a 48-foot semi truck. You are responsible for unloading the lift from the truck ā the driver will not unload it for you, and lift-gate service is not available for auto lifts. Plan for a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe at the receiving location. If you cannot unload at your location, the lift can be shipped to the carrier’s nearest freight terminal for pickup with a trailer or moving van. You are responsible for scheduling the delivery appointment with the freight company.
