An 80-Micron Coat Over Galvanized Steel

Galvanizing puts a zinc layer on the steel; the powder coat goes over the top. On the Brussels kit that coat measures 80 microns, which is a heavy build for fencing and the reason the finish resists chipping and peeling rather than flaking at the first scrape.
