The Atlas OHX10000X 2-Post Lift is a 10,000 lb capacity overhead two-post lift with an extra-tall column height. The extra height provides additional lifting range – important for lifting tall SUVs, pickups, and light trucks high enough for comfortable standing-under service work.
The overhead crossbar (rather than floor baseplate) design is preferred in many shops because it keeps the floor between posts completely clear – no plate to drive across, easier tool and creeper movement, and easier sweeping.
